We are thrilled to announce that the Shire of Dandaragan has officially adopted the new Council Plan at the August Ordinary Council Meeting.
This plan represents a shared vision for the future and 10-year plan for our community, focusing on infrastructure, prosperity, environment and community. We have listened to your feedback and incorporated your ideas to ensure that our Shire continues to be a wonderful place to live, work, and visit.
Some highlights of the new plan include:
- Cervantes Niche Wall Project;
- Undertake planning, design and develop a cycle and pedestrian pathway between Coalseam Industrial area and Jurien Bay Heights;
- Local improvements to streetscapes and public facilities in Badgingarra;
- Complete upgrades to the Pioneer Park play space and parkland in Dandaragan;
- Dandaragan Housing Project; and
- The continued master planning and enhancements of our Recreation Precincts.
