Proposed Jurien Bay Helicopter Scenic Flights (Closed)

The Shire of Dandaragan has received a development application from Turquoise Coast Helicopters for the operation of 10-20 minutes coastal helicopter scenic flights from the Jurien Bay Airport. Initially the proponent envisages operating only during weekend daylight hours (after 8am) where weather permits. Additional weekday flights may be sought during peak tourist times.
A Bell 47 G3 B1 Helicopter shown below will be used, this type of helicopter was used in TV shows such as Skippy and MASH, and in movies such as Crocodile Dundee.
