Local Planning Scheme Amendment Available for Inspection
Notice is hereby given that the Shire of Dandaragan has prepared the abovementioned planning scheme amendment for the purpose of making it permissible for a caravan park to be considered for development approval upon land managed by the Department of Transport within the Jurien Bay Boat Harbour.
This planning scheme amendment was initiated following the Expression of Interest the Department of Transport received from the Lobster Hut Hospitality Group Pty Ltd to lease a 4.5ha site within the Jurien Bay Boat Harbour to develop a resort/caravan park.
Documents setting out and explaining the scheme amendment are available for viewing at the Jurien Bay Administration Centre during normal office hours or can be downloaded from the Shire's Website - https://www.dandaragan.wa.gov.au/consultations/.
Submissions on the planning scheme amendment may be lodged in writing or emailed (council@dandaragan.wa.gov.au) to the CEO and should include the amendment number, the property affected and details of the submission. The closure time and date of the submission period is 4pm Monday 15 November 2021.
