The Shire of Dandaragan is inviting public comment on its draft Vibrant Communities Plan.

The Draft Vibrant Communities Plan was informed by the community through a range of consultation opportunities, including community workshops, in-person discussions, and surveys, and developed in consultation with the arts, culture and heritage sectors and in collaboration with a group of cultural leaders in the Shire's community.

We now wish to ensure we have heard what the community and our stakeholders have said throughout the process and reflected it in an aspirational plan for arts and culture in the Shire of Dandaragan.

Any consistent messages to change or improve the document will be incorporated into the final document for Council approval. Every bit of feedback we get is important in creating an understanding of the perceived effectiveness of the Draft Vibrant Communities Plan.

Once adopted by Council, a supporting policy will be developed to guide the Shire and indicate any financial commitments the Council will make to arts and culture in the Shire.  The public will have an opportunity to view and comment on a draft policy later in the year.

The survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. It will be available until 8am Thursday 9 July 2020.
